Chapter 2: First Love Always Special

They say you never forget your first love.

I think they’re right.

Not because every first love lasts forever, but because it changes you forever.

Long before life teaches us to be careful, before heartbreak makes us question every promise, and before reality replaces innocence, there is that one person who makes the world feel different. The first conversation, the first smile, the first flutter in your heart, it all feels magical because you’ve never experienced anything like it before.

First love has a way of turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. A simple text can brighten an entire day. A few minutes together can feel like a lifetime, while a goodbye can make the hours seem endless.

It isn’t perfect. In fact, it rarely is.

But perhaps that’s what makes it so beautiful. It is honest, fearless, and untouched by the fears we carry later in life. We love without calculations, without backup plans, and without imagining that one day things could fall apart.

As we grow older, love evolves. We become more practical, more cautious, and a little more guarded. We start protecting our hearts instead of freely offering them.

Yet somewhere deep inside, the memory of first love remains untouched, not because we cannot move on, but because it reminds us of the purest version of ourselves.

Maybe first love was never meant to last forever.

Maybe it was meant to teach us what love feels like before the world teaches us what loss feels like.

Looking back today, I don’t remember every conversation or every little detail. What I remember is how it felt to love someone for the very first time.

And as for what happened next..

Well, that’s a long story, one that cannot be told in a single chapter. Every emotion, every twist, every heartbreak, and every lesson deserves its own space. So, we’ll unfold that journey slowly, one chapter at a time.

Chapter 1: The Girl from Muzaffarpur.

Welcome back.

If you’ve made it here after reading my introduction, thank you for staying. It truly means a lot. Before I take you through the chapters that changed my life, I want to introduce you to the girl I was before life tested her in ways I never imagined.

Every story has a beginning, and mine begins in the heart of Bihar, in Muzaffarpur.

I was born into a simple, middle-class family where life wasn’t measured by luxuries but by love, values, and togetherness. My parents gave me a childhood rich in affection, discipline, and countless happy memories. Looking back today, I realize how fortunate I was to grow up in a home where I always felt safe, heard, and deeply loved.

Like most children, my world revolved around school, friends, family gatherings, festivals, and the little adventures that make childhood unforgettable.

My educational journey began at Vindhyachal Public School in Muzaffarpur. After a few years, I moved to DAV Public School. But being the daughter of a government employee meant that transfers were simply a part of life. My father’s posting took our family to Hajipur, and with that came another new beginning.

I joined St. John’s Academy, where I completed my Class 10. Every transfer meant leaving behind friends, adjusting to a new environment, and starting over. At the time, it felt difficult. Today, I realize those experiences quietly taught me resilience and the ability to embrace change.

After completing my tenth standard, we returned to Muzaffarpur, where I pursued my higher secondary education. Those were the years when dreams started taking shape, and the future seemed full of endless possibilities.

Soon, another city called me.

Delhi became my next destination, a city that challenged me, shaped me, and helped me grow. I pursued my Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Political Science from the University of Delhi, followed by a Master’s in Mass Communication. Those years didn’t just give me degrees; they gave me confidence, independence, and a wider perspective on life.

Alongside academics, I nurtured another love that had always been close to my heart, music. I trained in Hindustani Classical Music at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Music became more than a hobby; it became my companion, teaching me patience, discipline, and the art of expressing emotions without words.

If you had met me then, you would have found an ordinary girl with ordinary dreams. I wanted to build a meaningful career, make my parents proud, and live a peaceful, happy life.

There was nothing extraordinary about my childhood, and perhaps that’s exactly what made it beautiful. It was filled with love, laughter, family, friendships, and the comforting belief that life would always remain this simple.

Little did I know that life was preparing me for a journey I had never imagined.

But that’s a story for the next chapter.

Where It All Begins…

Hello, and welcome.

If you’re reading this, thank you for being here. It means more than you know.

For a long time, I’ve wanted a place where I could be completely honest, a place where I could share my thoughts, experiences, dreams, fears, and the lessons life has taught me along the way. This blog is that place.

Like everyone else, my life hasn’t been perfect. I’ve had moments that made me smile, moments that made me question everything, and moments that quietly changed the person I am today. Every experience, whether beautiful or painful, has helped shape my journey.

I’m not here because I have all the answers. I’m here because I believe our stories matter. Sometimes, knowing that someone else has felt the same emotions can make us feel a little less alone.

Through this blog, I’ll be sharing pieces of my life, my experiences, personal growth, relationships, challenges, small victories, and the everyday moments that often go unnoticed. Some posts will make you smile, some may make you think, and others may simply remind you that it’s okay to be human.

This is more than just a blog. It’s the beginning of a new chapter, one where I choose to be authentic, vulnerable, and true to myself.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. I hope that somewhere within these words, you find comfort, inspiration, or even a small part of your own story.

With love,

Shreeja
